In view of the national and international literature and the stakeholders of the sample, the results of the research that emerged in this study are considered an important situation. On the other hand, based on the results of the regression analysis, it was found that both students' self-efficacy and self-esteem have a significant impact on their attitudes toward the early career years. ![]() In addition, a moderate positive and significant correlation was found between students' self-efficacy and self-esteem. The analysis of the collected data revealed a moderate positive correlation between students' attitudes toward their first year in the profession and self-efficacy, and a slight positive and significant correlation was found between the self-esteem variable. A questionnaire was used as the data collection method, and the data obtained from 408 students were analysed. In accordance with the aim of the study, data were collected from 15 different universities. The random sampling method was chosen as the sample, which is one of the non-probabilistic sampling methods. ![]() The students of gastronomy and culinary arts and culinary arts studying in Turkey were determined as the research universe. In this regard, this study aims to reveal the results with the analysis in question, based on the assumption of the role of self-efficacy and self-esteem in the attitudes of the chief candidates toward their first years in the profession. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between occupational attitudes, self-efficacy perceptions, and self-esteem among students in early adulthood.
